 Cafe Latino will continue with "The Back Porch Poetry Series". All poets, songwriters, authors and storytellers of all ages are welcome to participate. Start Time will be around 6:30-7:00pm until 9:30. We will be featuring Eduardo Garza Sept 24. We will aslo be providing a table for those that wish to sell their wares.

 

This is an outdoor patio type venue when the weather cooperates. (We will move indoor when needed)

Ray was a local musician who could really make that piono talk with his blues style. Ray had been sick for quite a while with numerous health problems.

 

Ray's sister was married to Johnny Cash when he was stationed here in the military. The two families remained very close.

 

Some of the memorablilia from Johnny Cash and Ray will be auctioned off that day. Ex: Leather coat that has Cash Written on the back. This goes along with a picture that has Johnny wearing the coat. All of Johnny's memorabilia will come with a letter of authenticity.

 

The music lineup is great and so is the Bar-B-Que. Come on out and help us remember The Wildman.
